Carly Smithson sang a hit song, Jesus Christ Superstar. Carly Smithson’s choice was not popular. Carly Smithson failed to win more votes. Carly Smithson swallowed her pride in a way. Carly Smithson said she was very proud of herself. Simon Cowell, one of the American Idol judges, said that she should be. Did Simon mean Carly should be proud for leaving? Did Simon mean Carly should be proud of her singing? It was hard to tell when Simon used sarcasm or not.

Carly Smithson is married. At the start of the American Idol season, some gossip and rumors tried to rock the boat of Carly Smithson. Whispers said she was pregnant. Carly Smithson even had to come out into the open and deny her pregnancy.

Carly Smithson was quite vocal in expressions. She berated Danny Noriega for being rude to his mother and all mothers in his Christmas rant video that he made when he was younger.

Simon Cowell had previously told Carly that she needed to lighten up. Its too late now for Carly. Let’s hope she can get her old bartender job back in Ireland. Her former colleagues had told her that they did not want to see her back in the bar. It was not because they hated Carly Smithson but because they loved Carly Smithson. They wanted Carly to win American Idol so that she would never have to work in the bar again.

This was Carly Smithson’s second trial at American Idol. Carly’s first season was in Season 5. She had to leave US when her visa encountered problems. Would anyone still express an interest to employ Carly Smithson?
