Nicholas Sarkozy and Carla Bruni are allegedly engaging in extra-marital affairs, said a French language website. Sarkozy and Bruni are rumored to be in an open, swinger type of marriage. Both are rumored to be comfortable with the other having their own extra marital partners. However, the French website which first published this report has since removed its post. Carla Bruni Sarkozy has issued a general denial that her husband could ever be unfaithful.

The original source claimed Carla Bruni is allegedly seeing Benjamin Biolay, a French singer. Sarkozy is allegedly seeing Chantal Jouanno, a cabinet member belonging to the right wing.

It was alleged that the rumors could have been started by Franck Rieusset, a trainee at Warner Bros, in Neuilly, Paris, France.

Le Journal du Dimanche, a French newspaper blog, picked up the rumors and published a post on the subject.

Chantal Jouanno is a politician in France. Jouanno was born onJuly 12, 1969, in France. Jouanno has been linked to the current President Nicholas Sarkozy but that isn’t new. Jouanno has always been a friend and supporter of Sarkozy. Gossip and rumors linked Jouanno to Sarkozy. But Carla Bruni has denied that her husband could ever be unfaithful.

Jouanno’s former claim to fame before politics was when she was the reigning karate champion. Chantal Jouanno won the French karate championship 12 times in her category.

Benjamin Biolay, born on Jan 20, 1973, was once married to Chiara Mastroianni. Biolay and Mastroianni have divorced.

Biolay’s sister is also a singer, Coralie Clement. Biolay has written music for her and produced her music albums too. Biolay has also done the same for other French singers.

April 11 2008 – Carla Bruni naked photo sold
Christie’s auction house sold Carla Bruni’s black and white nude photo for USD $91,000. That was an exclusive, original photo. Carla was fuming mad that Christie announced the auction on the eve of her French state visit to UK. The buyer was a Chinese art collector who used a representative to snag the purchase.

France’s First Lady, Carla Bruni Sarkozy met Spain’s Princess Letizia on Monday, April 27. Carla Bruni visited Princess Letizia at Zarzuela Palace outside Madrid, Spain.

One lunch meeting saw Carla Bruni in a navy blue Christian Dior and low heels from Christian Louboutin. Princess Letizia wore a cerise bandage dress with matching light purple heels.

At the Palace’s gala dinner, Mrs Sarkozy wore a black colored gown with a high neck and low back. Princess Letizia wore an egg colored satin gown with a shimmery train and accessorized with her tiara.

Princess Letizia is married to Spain’s Crown Prince Felipe, the son of King Juan Carlos and Queen Sofia. Princess Letijia used to work as a TV reporter before she married Prince Felipe. Princess Letijia was named in Vanity Fair as the world’s fifth best dressed woman in 2008. Carla Bruni Sarkozy was named as the fourth best dressed in the same list.

Mrs Sarkozy has a new hair style. Carla Bruni has shoulder length hair ending with loose curls.

Nicolas Sarkozy & Carla Bruni Sarkozy assassination scare

A band was playing and a shot rang out at Israel’s Ben-Gurion airport. Nicolas Sarkozy and Carla Bruni Sarkozy were attending the closing ceremony before they left the Israeli tarmac to fly back to France.

French President Nicolas Sarkozy’s security guards jumped into action as they feared that an assassination attempt was underway.

The French security rushed Carla Bruni Sarkozy up into the plane ahead of Nicolas Sarkozy. Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert & Israeli President Shimon Peres were ushered into their bullet proof cars by their security.

A few minutes later, the mystery was solved. An Israeli policeman had shot himself in the head. He was stationed at a roof about 100 yards away from the tarmac. The Israeli authorities have launched their investigations to discover the cause of the death. It could be accidental or a suicide.

Mar 26 2008 – First pictures of French state visit to UK

Nicolas Sarkozy & Carla Bruni touched down on Heathrow. Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall received them. Just ahead of his visit, Sarkozy said that he wanted friendship and projects on the economy, immigration, security, defence. The fun begins from now.

Carla’s mother Marisa Bruni-Tedeschi, 77, is part of the French entourage.

Sarah Brown and Gordon Brown – Sarah will have a lunch date with Carla. Nicolas will meet Gordon and discuss about a possible boycott of the Beijing Olympics. Carla Bruni was angry that the British auction house Christie’s decided to announce the auction on her old naked photo that was done in 1993. This announcement was or was not timed to fall on the eve of her state visit to UK.

Christie’s denied any maliciousness or wrong doing.

This is the top ten list of diplomatic egg shells that the world will be watching for when The French President and his First Lady walks on them when they visit Britain on March 26 – 27, 2008. If an egg shell cracks, the embarassment of the faux pas and disgrace would pursue the sinners for the rest of their days.

1. Nicolas Sarkozy and Carla Bruni broke tradition of the British state visit. Instead of staying from Tuesday until Friday, as per tradition, they elected to cram everything in from Wednesday to Thursday. They will walk on egg shells during their brief 2 day visit.
2. Sarkozy, nicknamed Sarko, the alleged Thatcherite (stingy) contrasts with UK’s Gordon Brown, the alleged spendaholic. Will either egg shell crack if one takes a pot shot at the other?
3. This new British-French relation might mean something for European and trans-Atlantic politics. It depends on how the egg shells are handled.
4. The personal background (domestic situation of the visitor) of Carla Bruni is a hot bed. She is an advocator of polygamy. The Queen is most certainly not of the same opinion. Eggs of different genre, roll safely asunder.
5. Carla is a green horn at French social diplomacy. She was newly inducted into chatelaine of the Elysee Palace. She has been for only a few weeks. Sarkozy is not experienced at 10 months old into his presidency. The Queen has a life time of experience to fall on.

8. The French Embassy in London are anxious to see how much the Royal couple have assimilated from their crash course in British royal protocol. If the Embassy fails, diplomatc relations with London will certainly suffer.
9. The super rich Carla has acquiesced to curtsy to the Queen. Everyone would be watching what kind of curtsy she performs.
10. It will be amusing to hear Sarkozy trying to speak English. Queen Elizabeth and Sarkozy may converse in French since that is Sarkozy’s main channel of communication.
