Captain Johnny Harsh, of Oshkosh, is a leader of the Wisconsin Salvation Army. Capt. Johnny Harsh may lose his job in the Salvation Army if he marries a woman who is not affiliated with the Salvation Army Johnny Harsh is aware of the rule that an officer may only marry another officer from the Salvation Army.

However, Harsh said that was unfair. Helen Lord Burr said that the Salvation Army rules are the same for all over the world. Johnny Harsh lost his first wife, Capt. Yalanda Harsh, after she had a hear attack in June. Johnny Harsh is now engaged to a woman who is outside of the salvation Army organization and they plan to marry in June, 2009.
