June 26 2011 – The cast has managed to propel Bad Teacher into a box office winner. Diaz has enjoyed her rise up to the top hitch-hiking on the coat tails of Justin Timberlake. Bad Teacher earned $31 million for its box office this weekend of June 25-26, 2011. Critics suggested it was Justin Timberlake who helped to pull in the fans.
Diaz and Timberlake used to be in a dating relationship. They remained amicable after their breakup, which was more than many Hollywood couples could do. When Diaz’s father died of pneumonia, Timberlake attended his memorial service. Sources said Timberlake stayed behind to spend some time with Diaz and made sure she was going to be all right.
Diaz and Timberlake had to put their personal differences aside to film a sex scene for the cameras for the movie Bad Teacher. The director, Jake Kasdan, said he thought it was one of the most awkward sex scenes he had ever directed and filmed. Although Diaz and Timberlake tried to be very professional about the taping, the director could sense that the former couple had a hard time acting this one out.
Rumors said Diaz had broken up with Alex Rodriguez but the two had been seen together very recently. It was likely that Diaz was too busy promoting Bad Teacher, to be spending time with A-Rod. Hence, the break up rumors.
Cameron Diaz and Jason Segel acted together in Bad Teacher. Diaz credited Segel for taking the lead in the comedy. She said she was tuned in to his comic frequency and they shared chemistry together.
Diaz admitted there were times she felt distanced, isolated and outcast when the male actors in Bad Teacher shared camaradiere.

In May, Diaz’s voiceover for the movie, Shrek Forever After, premiered. Diaz provided her voice for Princess Fiona, Shrek’s wife. Kate Hudson allegedly was feeling upset as Diaz was dating her ex-boyfriend, Alex Rodriguez, so soon after her split with him. Apparently, Hudson was nurturing a glimmer of hope that Rodriguez might reconcile with her.

The wto met up when they appeared at the premiere of the movie, Bad Teacher. Rodriguez noticed the paparazzi pictures and thought Timberlake was trying to court Diaz. He softened his stance and made some concessions to accommodate Diaz in his relationship. The dating couple are back to the dating game.
Aug 26, 2011 – Cameron Diaz wore a large prosthetic baby bump for her role in her new movie, “What To Expect When You’re Expecting?” Diaz smiled when photographers caught her on the set. She has every reason to smile. Her previous voice edition for Shrek 2 earned her $10 million. Even when her co-star, Jennifer Lopez, showed her displeasure, she was not put off by the singer’s silent war of protest. Other co-stars include Elizabeth Banks, Anna Kendrick, Dennis Quaid, Joe Manganiello, and Chris Rock.
