Cabin 28 murders & The Strangers: Are Strangers same as Cabin 28 murders?
By Clarencia Cynrae on May 30th, 2008Hollywood’s horror flick, The Strangers, is the latest in imitation of scary movies. The plot is similar to all other psycho killers. It was written after taking inspiration from one or more real life murder stories.
A ghost was blamed because there were no clues to work on.
The Movie, The Strangers starred Scott Speedman and Liv Tyler.
In the 1981, a family of a Mom, 2 daughters, 3 sons and a girlfriend of the eldest son, stayed in a cabin. This resort holiday home was in the hills in California. It was called The Keddie Resort. During that night, the eldest daughter, Sheila Sharp, a teenager, went to sleep overnight in a neighbor’s cabin about 15 feet away. The next morning, she returned to see blood everywhere in the cabin.
Her mother, Sue Sharp, was stabbed to death. Her hands and feet were bound. She was on the sofa which became blood soaked. The eldest boy, John Sharp, in the family and his friend, Dana Wingate, were also murdered in the same way. They were stabbed and their hands and feet were tied up.
The girl went to look for the rest of her family. Two brothers were in a back back bedroom. The younger sister, Tina Sharp, was missing.
The whole cabin was covered in blood. The walls were slashed by a knife. The furniture was destroyed. The whole place looked wrecked. No clues were found. Police could do nothing.
The resort town slowly grew deserted. The community around the area moved away. The case grew cold because nothing could be done. A ghost was blamed.

The strangers was not based on the Keddie Murders. It was based on an event that the writer had as a child where ppl knocked on his door and asked for someone who didnt live there and they later found out that every house that was empty on his street was robbed. He is even quoted somewhere saying this.

The cases are similar though. Very eerie. Check out the Keddie murders movie .com (all one word). I hear the guy just wrote a book about the case. I can’t wait to order mine.

This is the work of a cult of witches. A coven. Evil men who wanted to sacrifice them and who live in the area. They have strong black magic but its not stronger than God.
Nobody gets away with anything and God’s wrath will fall upon all those involved in the murders and the coverup of the murders and all witchcraft used will be broke.

well why does it say at the beggining of the film that it is based on the hoyt murders if it isnt thats a load of shite and to be quiet frank i feel that my rights have been affected by them stating that at the beggining of the film i will be taking the matter further….

These murders involved local individuals involved in witchcraft or devil worship. These murders resembled the Charles Mansion murders.
The police were involved in a cover up or the police were involved in the murders itself.
The truth will come out because the power of God rules over the power of evil and the truth will eventually come out.
While researching this matter, my computer froze and I was forced off line several times. It seems like some evil still tries to prevent people from researching the murders. God will have the final say over this case.
I’m sure the murders were ritualistic and involved several men and I’m sure it ties in with witchcraft or devil worship and the police were involved.
The truth will still come out because God will have the final say. Every knee shall bow and every mouth shall confess … HE IS GOD.

You are a stupid cunt that needs to get a life. The Strangers or the Keddie Murders had absolutely NOTHING to do with withcraft or the devil. Your computer froze because you look up nasty porn and have caught spyware on your computer. Practice what you preach!

what is your problem..you dont need to say crap to people like that..and im not quite sure what this movie was based on but im pretty sure its based on a few actual murder crimes.

I would say that the movie was based on a few different crimes that lead to one story. It is tragic what happen to those people and we should all rememebre that. I have been reading about this and have done some looking into some facts and it sounds like to me that there were two people involved BO and Marty. I agree it had nothing to do with cults or manson or any other dark force that is just CRAZY talk. I do agree GOD does get his in the end but do not think that will help the people left behind in this tragic story. People should not worry about what the movie was about but pray for the souls lost that night.
