Pimp C, aka Chad Butler, lived from Dec 29 1973 - Dec 4 2007. Pimp C was famous for his rap songs. Pimp C was a member of UGK, which used the Dirty South style of rap. On June 24, Bun B, Pimp C’s brother, (brother in terms of close relationship)went on stage at the BET Awards. Bun B’s real name is Bernard Freeman.

Bun B thanked his fans for supporting UGK all along. He paid tribute to his deceased brother, Pimp C, as this was the first BET Awards without Pimp C.
