BTK Killer was the nickname given to the murderer who did his signature Bind, Torture, Kill on his victims. The BTK Killer was active from 1974 to 1991. The BTK Killer sent letters to his local Sedgwick County police and media. The BTK Killer stopped his letters for some years in the 1990s, only to resume again in 2004.

By then, technology was more advanced and the BTK Killer was caught in 2005. He was Dennis Rader.

Dennis Rader confessed he killed ten victims. There was DNA evidence linked to him.
