Bryshon Nellum, USC sprinter, had been shot three times in his legs. Bryshon Nellum was shot at a Halloween party. Nellum took three bullets in his left thigh and right hamstring. Nellum had surgery to repair his wounds in California Hospital Medical Center in LA.

Police said Bryshon Nellum was shot at a restaurant near the USC campus on Fri. morning, Oct. 31. Nellum’s doctors said that surgery went well and anticipated that Nellum might heal well to resume his track and field career. Bryshon Nellum’s coach at USC, Ron Allice, said that everyone was shocked. Allice hoped that Nellum would be able to recover fully and resume his career. Police could not arrest anybody in relation to this crime.
