Bruce Ivins – investigator and anthrax culprit himself

Bruce Ivins was a senior government scientist who helped in the investigation of fatal anthrax attacks in 2001. Bruce Ivins committed suicide when he learnt that he would be charged with carrying out the anthrax attacks.


Bruce Ivins, 62, worked for 18 years in Maryland. Bruce Ivins, a skilled microbiologist, was suspected of sending the anthrax to media and politicians after September 11, 2001.
