Bruce Hummel has been charged with the murder of his wife, Alice Hummel. Alice Hummel disappeared 18 years ago. Whatcom County Prosecutor, Dave McEachran, charged Bruce Hummel with first degree murder of Alice Hummel.

Bruce Hummel told his children that their mother, Alice Hummel, had left them. He mailed his kids presents and pretended they were from Alice Hummel. Bruce Hummel continued to cash Alice Hummel’s disability benefits checks from Alaska Teachers Retirement System.

Alice Hummel’s niece, Laura Keithley, said that it was a resolution fir her aunt, Alice Hummel.
