Brooke Heike, is suing Central Michigan University and Sue Guevara, the women’s basketball coach. Heike claimed that Guevara kept her benched and revoked her scholarship.

Heike claimed that Guevara targeted her because she wore makeup and was not a lesbian. Heike claimed Guevara gave her sexual harassment and discrimination. Heike seeks unspecified damages.

Heike claimed Guevara told her not to wear makeup. Later, Guevara supposedly instructed an assistant coach to tell Heike to transfer to Saginaw Valley State University.

CMU said that they were aware of Heike’s allegations. Steve Smith, CMU representative, said Heike’s claims had no merit.
