Brittanee Drexel & Peter Brozowitz: Brozowitz last to see Drexel (video)

One day earlier, the person of interest was named as Peter Broswick but another news agency has a new spelling of the name.
Brozowitz, 20, graduated from Webster Thomas High School in 2006. Police have interviewed Brozowitz and he has cooperated with them.
A report said Ms Drexel had known mental issues. Drexel was known to have depression. Myrtle Beach Police said they were treating Ms Brittanee Drexel’s disappearance seriously as she had a history of mental health issues.

Peter Broswick has been named by police as a person of interest in the case of the missing teen, Brittanee Drexel. Broswick is from Webster. Broswick has retained a lawyer and will not give any comment.
Peter Broswick was named as the last known person to have seen Drexel last Saturday night, April 25.
Drexel’s mother, Dawn Drexel, has appealed to Broswick to tell them what had happened. Ms Drexel, of Chili, near Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, said around 13 people have been working in Myrtle Beach putting up fliers and searching for Brittanee.
Dawn Drexel said one of the boys from Brittanee’s group kept changing his story about the last time he saw Brittanee. Ms Drexel thought that boy may be hiding something. Brittanee Drexel’s cell phone is now dead. Dawn Drexel feared her daughter may be dead.

Brittanee Drexel, a junior at Gates Chili, is missing. Her mother, Dawn Drexel, has appeared on TV to appeal for help to locate Brittanee. Mrs Drexel said she had a gut feeling Brittanee was not safe.
Brittanee Drexel left for Myrtle Beach without her mother’s permission. Drexel left for Myrtle Beach on Wednesday, April 22. Drexel was last seen by her friends on Saturday, 8 pm, on April 25.
Brittanee Drexel left her clothes behind in the hotel room. Mrs Drexel said it was unlike Brittanee not to call her. Brittanee did not call her boyfriend either since she went missing.
Gates-Chili school has offered counseling and assistance to their students and related persons.

Brittanee is my Bestfriend, i know she would have called me by now, its sad i was talking to her around 12:00 that afternoon, she was so happy to enjoy her last day at myrtle, and that when she returned i would see her again.. little did i know that couldve been the last time i ever talked to my bestfriend again

i didnt know brittanee drexel, but shes all over my rochsester news tv thing.. people said she could be missing/dead? i dont think so cause there has been no allegations that she was kidnapped right? someone reply to this if they can finish my questions if you k now b-drexel personally. and this goes out to her family sorry for your loss hope you find her and shes in one piece.

Did we learn nothing from Natalee Holloway? Stop using double-e’s in your daughters’ names, it causes low IQ and exhibitions of poor judgement.
Dawn will bear this the rest of her life– she knew her daughter was troubled and must’ve had a history of lying and deception– a kid’s first stunt is not going 1000 miles away for a vacation unless she knows Mom doesn’t keep close tabs on her.

I agree with GooGoo. Stupid girl disobeys her parents and goes down to Myrtle Beach. She has the two ee’s at the end of her name. She is blonde, hangs out with a guy who “knows” her, slipd her the ruffie, now she is gone. She has not been kidnapped because there is not going to be any ransom. She’s shark food now or thrown into a meat grinder, whatever you prefer. Lesson to all you white girls with blonde hair, dont take vacations

Technically, Brittanee is a “runaway”. By her mother’s own admission Brittanee was denied permission to go to S.C.for spring break. She subsequently pulled the classic “I’m staying at a friend’s house” ploy. It’s painfully obvious that neither Brittanee nor her mother have any idea of real world dynamics. Once her mother received word of where she was she should have taken actions to retrieve her daughter from S.C. by alerting authorities that she was there without permission.Instead they discussed soccer equipment?!?!
Who were the adults in this? Who obtained the hotel room[s] for these kids? Why didn’t SOMEONE accompany Brittanee back to the hotel instead of letting her leave alone. An attractive five foot tall 103 pound 17 year old female walking alone, at night? How can you not think foul play?
Once again poor judgement prevails, and everyone asks “How could this happen”? Affluence is no substitute for common sense. Wake up! Turn off The Hills and turn on the news….not everything on TV is fantasy/fiction. Your local and network news are the only true “reality” shows on. Learn from what you see and hear. It’s a VERY dangerous world, and there are threats around every corner. Use some common sense and you’ll greatly increase you chances of survivial. If you think you’re safe, impervious to the threats and let your guard down you will become a victim. It’s not a matter of if only of when.

I think the quy who is beinq seen as a person of interest, Peter Brozowitz, is hot and I don’t think he had ne thinq 2 do with it and I honestly hope they qet their dauqhter back safely because the last thinq this country needs is another Natalee Holloway story which was traqic and my heart qoes out to the Holloways I’m sorry for your loss and to the Drexels I hope they find her and u qet ur baby qirl back no matter what GOD BLESS!!!!

I don’t know Brittanee personally, but I feel so sorry for her and everyone that loves her who are all dealing with the pain of her disappearance & the mystery behind it. It’s sad, being a 21 year old from Rochester myself, I know how it is to be a teen here… whoever is judging her and talking shit about her going on spring break without her moms permission & leaving the hotel on her own, are you fucking god? Have you never made a poor decision in your life? Poor judgement is not punishable by Kidnap and whatever else brittanee has endured since being abducted or running away, whatever the case may be. Teens are naive and think they’re invincable…we all know this… Are you really that ignorant & cold-hearted? The girl was 17…absolutely beautiful and even if she’s still alive has been robbed of any shot at a normal, happy life… Or any life at all. I mean chances are, she had most likely had been drinking, I mean let’s get real here, who makes good choices when they have a few drinks in em? teens do stuff like this all the time, disobeying their parents wishes…. My heart goes out to Brittanee & everyone who knows her & who’s life has been destroyed or even effected by her disappearance. But Brittanees friends and family are not the only ones who’s lives have changed for the worse due to this tragedy, i’ve known Peter Brozowitz & his brother for almost 10 years…. this whole thing has opened up my eyes so much to how messed up the Legal system & media can be… it’s sickening the way that the police have the power to find such a good kid, the last person who would ever hurt anybody… And can make the entire world believe he’s some kind of murderer or kidnapper. I feel so sorry for Pete & what the media has done to his name just because she was at his hotel. I understand that he was the last person to see her and that may bring suspicion to people but I’m sure the poor kid is already going thru enough guilt knowing that he could have done something to prevent this from happening. The stuff I read about him is so freakin rediculous I can’t even believe my eyes. I read a blog today suggesting that he sold her into sex trade!!! I mean, seriously, he’s a normal kid, he goes out to all the same places as I do and we have all the same friends… There’s no way in hell he would even know the first thing about freakin sex trade. I just hate seeing the things ppl say and the opinions that people have formed & conclusions people jump to about the type of person that Lil Petey Broz isN’T. When I think of him I think of such an innocent Lil thing; such a cutie with such an amazing heart. I know that those girls Brittanee was with know Peter & think of him the same way I do, and for them to sit in the background and not speak up when the world is turning against him is fucked up. Im sure she got picked up by some creepy, psychotic pervert and if he is holding her captive and she infact is watching the news and talk shows, she’s probably not only petrified, distraught, sad, and every other negative feeling there is, but on top of it all, feeling guilty that one of her friends is being blamed for something he had nothing to do. I’ve seen it on trutv & movies a million times, Police are coming to the realization that they may not solve this nationwide case, and don’t want to look incompetent so instead of just admitting that they don’t have a clue, they pick a suspect, any suspect & twist the story around to make an innocent persoN look guilty. The hotel room was not under Peters name, due to contrary belief, And there were 4 other guys staying in the Same hotel room…. Why aren’t their names posted all over the Internet & news stations?! These websites are all talking about how weird it was that Peter and his friends drove back to Rochester “suspiciously” late, but fact of the matter is, they drove FROM rochester TO myrtle in the middle of the night as well… AND, the guys he was with were In school & wanted to get home Sunday in time for class. I know everytime I go on vacation via road trip, I always leave late to avoid traffic & to arrive at my destination at a reasonable time, it’s NOT that weird. Ughhh, seriously, These two poor kids
I feel so sorry for both of them…. I know that brittanees mom spent weeks in sC searching for her daughter, but her exert on RNews bothered me more than anything, she had a chance to reach out to her daughter possibly for the last time, and didn’t even say I love you. I found that very disturbing, in my opinion, it really seems like she didn’t have a close relationship with Brittanee… I mean she didn’t shed a tear which I guess can be normal for a mother in shock, but to not even tell your daughter that you love her after she’s been missing for months is just strange to me… I wonder If brittanee was going thru a rebellious stage and drifted so distant from her mom to the point where her mom didn’t even know what was going on in her life…. Which really isn’t too far fetched… But If that’s the case, then her mom shouldn’t be throwing all of these aqusations around saying “Peter we know your hiding something, we know you know what happened to Brittanee…” I understand she wants answers but if she isn’t close with her daughter and doesn’t know that she’s thousands of miles away for an entire trip until the very last day, then chances are she doesn’t know most of her friends, she doesn’t know Peter, if she did, she would never be saying the things she has said about him. I’m not saying that she doesn’t have a right to be upset or that she isn’t, but being a paren scared for their kid, she should be the last person to put that stress on another family. maybe I’m wrong to say she’s not close with her daughter and if so I’m sorry….but one thing I’m not wrong about and I know for a fact is that everyone accussing Peter of foul-play couldn’t be any further from the truth. I really hope she comes back to rochester and the people she loves, it’s all too often that beautiful young girls disappear and dont return, I hope justice is served to anyone who isn’t coming clean with what they know, and obviously, I hope people accusing pete of being something he’s not, feel like shit when the truth finally prevails.
