Britt Leis and his fancee, Leah Koehn, were assaulted and injured with stab wounds while they were on holiday in Ecuador. Britt Leis was stabbed more than 24 times and he now has infection from his wounds.

The best thing that was discovered was that none of the 24 stabbings touched a vital organ. Doctors and his family were surprised and grateful Britt Leis will survive. On Tues., Oct 21, Britt Leis and Leah Koehn were flown by a medevac (medical evacuation) plane out of Ecuador and into Miami. Britt Leis was warded at the Loma Linda Medical Center. The media tried to contact Leah Koehn’s family to write about her condition and get an update but they were unsuccessful at this point.
