Rockefeller Center in New York will get a very old, special, Christmas tree from New Jersey. The Varanyak family in Hamilton gave up their ancient 1931 Norway spruce. The mature tree is now 72 feet tall and weighs 8 tons. The Varanyak family had the tree since 1931 and this symbolic tree will be erected at Rockefeller Center on Friday, November 21.

Bill Varanyak, the owner of the tree, said that his mother had predicted that one day, the tree will become the “miracle tree” because it would get displayed at Rockefeller Center. Britney Spears has been contacted to negotiate a contract to perform at the Rockefeller Center during the first unveiling of the Christmas Tree. Spears’ contract has not been signed, sealed & delivered but spies for TMZ said she is almost sure to deliver her performance at the Rockefeller Center.
