Britney Spears’ father, Jamie Spears, has permanent conservatorship, along with several lawyers. Jamie Spears was granted control over Britney Spears’ personal and financial affairs. A court appointed, neutral attorney has explained to Britney Spears the details of this conservatorship.

Britney Spears can petition for the removal of her conservatorship at a later date if she desires it.

Los Angeles Superior Court Commissioner Reva Goetz said Britney Spears would not have to answer a deposition requested by her ex manager, Johnny Wright. Wright is suing Britney Spears.
