Brigitte Bardot / Bridget Bardot wrote a letter to Nicholas Sarkozy to suggest that the Muslims should stun the sacrificial animals before killing them. It suggested that the Muslim slaughter made the animal suffer. That was against what the Islam religion claimed. They practice “halal” or mercy killing with minimal suffering on the prey.

A French prosecutor in Paris suggested that Brigitte Bardot / Bridget Bardot should be fined USD 23,000 and given a suspended jail term of 2 months. The court will meet on June 3, 2008 to pass sentence or judgment on this case.
