Brianna Broitzman & Ashton Larson: Broitzman/ Larson abused seniors (photos)

Broitzman and Larson were former nursing assistants at the Home for senior citizens and they worked there from Jan. – May 2008.

A former co-worker claimed Broitzman and Larson abused and assaulted the elderly residents at the nursing home in Albert Lea, Minnesota.
Brianna Broitzman has told investigators Larson and herself would touch the genitals of the seniors. Broitzman allegedly spit into the mouths of the patients in the nursing home. Larson and Broitzman videotaped and photographed some of the cases of abuse. Broitzman and Larson allegedly discussed about their misdeeds during scholl. Brianna Broitzman and Ashton Larson face more than 20 charges of assault, criminal sex abuse and disorderly conduct. The two ex nursing assistants face a minimum of 90 days in jail and/or a minimum fine of $1000.
There are 4 more young teens involved in this case and they are treated as juveniles. Brianna Broitzman and Ashton Larson are treated as adults. The juveniles were charged with failure to report the incidents involving the abuse of the patients.
The Minnesota Department of Health has a report that showed 15 patients with Alzheimer’s disease or other dementia disorders were ill treated at the Good Samaritan Nursing Home.

How reprehensible! To treat an elderly human being this way, who you are supposed to be caring for is disgusting. I hope these girls are treated the same way when they are in a vulnerable state – like maybe when they go to JAIL!! Karma is a bitch – and it’s real!

The home that employed them is the Good Samaritan Society in Albert Lea, MH.
Their web site is begging for volunteers, but it is clear they have absolutely no training and supervision.
Who would leave their elderly father or mother at any Good Samaritan Society nursing home if they are this incompetent in selecting, training and monitoring volunteers?

There aren’t enough bad things that can happen to these two pieces of human excrement.
Hopefully they will do hard time and be on the receiving end of such dehumanizing treatment.
You really have to wonder, too, what hand their parents had in all this. How do people raise filth like this? They don’t get it from the air. I’m guessin’ these were the usual selfish, all-about-me, immature, materialistic, absentee parents you find in cases such as this.

This breaks my heart. To think that people trust that their loved ones will be looked after by these people and they get misstreated this way. I hope both of this girls get some serious punishment

First of all, the comments some of you are leaving are downright disgusting. To say “they are too hot to be locked up”, “I would pay for the extra abuse”, “stuff a bunch of ones in my pockets too will ya”, shows how uncaring people can be and that breaks my heart. I don’t know how old you people are but if you are mature adults and speaking this way, something is very wrong there. I hope these girls know what they did is terribly wrong and I hope they pray to God for forgiveness for a long time. These girls are sick, and they need help, I hope they get it. My heart goes out to the residents who were subjected to the abuse, their families, and the administrators of the Good Samaritan Society. If this would have been your parents, I pray that you would feel differently about the situation. I work at a Good Samaritan Society in a different state and am very proud of it. We take very good care of our residents every day and would never even think of doing these things. They are human beings with lives and great stories to tell, they are amazing people. To think that these girls would think they can treat them like this baffles me and is truly heartbreaking. I love my residents with all of my heart and would do anything to protect them from people like this. And to clear the record, volunteers do not care for the residents. They play a great role in the society but the care is done by certified nursing assistants who have gone through a training course that is very thorough, we are very well trained so i do not appreciate someone saying that their families are being cared for by people that are not trained, its simply not true. The parents who are defending their children are doing what any parent would do however, nothing they say is going to make it right. Their kids messed up BIG TIME and they need to own up to that. I’m sure it has to be incredibly embarassing and I feel for them on that, but at the same time, how were they raised, why would they think they can do this? It makes me wonder what went on at home. For all of you making a joke of this situation, it makes me sick, shame on you.

You get what you pay for. This is what you get when you hire cheap labor. Hire qualified therapists with a vested career interest and a history of excellent performance behind them instead of inexperienced, uneducated, and immature “fresh out of high school” know it alls and the vast majority of these problems would be averted. That cuts into the bottom line however. Much of this is driven by insurance companies’ unwillingness to reimburse accordingly for skilled help and the cost that those educated profesionals rightfully demand.

I also work at a Good Sam and I happen to know that our aides are one of the highest paid helping positions. There are also therapists that are employed with us but you must not understand the fact that a CNA IS who takes care of the residents in a nursing home, thats how it is get over it. We work our butts off and are compensated very well, and most of us are not “fresh out of high school” so for people to make these assumptions is crazy. I love my job and for people to assume we are all incompetent 16 yr olds kind of hurts. I guess people will have their opinions but make sure you do your research before you start calling out stupid assumptions.

Reading this makes me so mad , okay all the stuff the media says eveyone belives it and talks about it for days on end if it is bad. but someone doing a good deed gets forgotten in a day. Well first off these so called alzheimers patients getting abused did not have alzheimers but they like you to think the worst so they tell you that .. if they had alzheimers they would have resided in the angels wing which was a place strictly for alzheimers patients that they no longer have now. so that is a lie that the put out in the media for all you… so who ever belived that is a moron.
Okay second thing they never cared to mention that the nurses never got charged or written up for abuse or neglect to treat the patients. One patient had a U T I and was reported to the nurse and kept reporting to the nurse and other nurses and lpns and nothing got done, 3 months later they so oh so and so is suffering from a sevier bladder infection. and is bed ridden becaue it has gotten so bad that this resident can no longer walk to the bathroom with assistance but is in so much pain she scrams and cries when you get the patient up with a mechanical lift. but that never got reported or written up.
Another patient was suffering from a horrible problem that they had and would cry out but yet the nurses made you get that person up to eat … okay who realy wants to eat when they were in so much pain to cry out and yell. but could sit comfortably in bed…. and the patient would beg and pled to be left in bed and the workers would not want to get that person up because patient was in so much pain but nope who cares what the patient wants right. so the nurses made them get that patient up as the patient is crying … just so you guys know u can reposition people in bed they dont need to get up but they did not care… to me that is in human
Another time a charge nurse left a patient in a room with pants down half done with getting a cath done and left home with the patient like that wet and scared and indecent. But that does not matter but if you left a sock on the ground the night before oh belive me you would get yelled at for a half an hour.
none of those things you guys heard about and something else that you guys have not heard about is that the person who reported all this make belive incidents was an ex best friend of one of the girls and since she was getting fired for saying indecent things why not say stuff about these girls… come on perfect revenge on on ex best friend… you guys know how mean girls can get. But oh you guys are willing to belive her mad up revenge because its negative you guys dwell to much on the negative and you guys are calling these girls sick. you guys are just as sick minded for beliveing all this and not getting the facts come on now what do you think the media is going to report the truth or something that is going to sell big money? come on think about it.
They are pretty girls who were not spoiled and dont have ” fake tits” or sick minded if you knew them you would know that this is just a bunch of here say from a girl who wants attention and deserves punishment for making this up and putting them through this and should be talked about . And saying their whole group of friends is sick minded is not true at all when hereing about this made them sick to their stomachs. so before judging and saying stuff know the truth cause in return it makes all off you guys look like the sick ones. so quick feeding off negative thoughts and media and know the truth before saying these things about people you dont know at all.

All I can do is shake my head at the indecency of these girls. For one human being to treat another human being in such a way is heartbreaking. My prayers go out to the residents and families of the Good Samaritan Home in Albert Lea. No one should have to go through such an ordeal.

The behavior of these children is absolutely disgusting. They must be awfully insecure to have to violate helpless elderly people that are suffering from a terrible disease, to entertain themselves. These people have lived all their lives only to find themselves being abused by the people that are SUPPPOSED to be taking care of them!! This is all too common of youth of today, they don’t care about anything except themselves, and are too self-centered to understand that they should be doing their JOB, which they were being paid for!
These pathetic, self-centered dirty little disease bags have no purpose in society. They need to be injected with a severe muscle relaxer, then let a bunch of old men violate them sexually for…oh, a year or so. It should be recorded and posted on porntube.com for all the world to see. Now THAT’S adequate punishment! Scar them for life. That’ll show ‘em!
