Brian Powers, 27, was at the stadium for a baseball game on Monday, April 6. The Angels had played against the Oakland As. Powers, of Buena Park, was fighting a man near the stair well in the right field pavilion.

A third man came up behind Powers and punched his head. Powers fell and struck his head on the concrete step on the ground. Powers was sent to UC Irvine Medical Center.

On Tuesday night, doctors said Powers was brain dead. Anaheim Police have footage of the fight on security videos. The two other men were described as between 25 – 30 years old. Both men had goatees.
