Bret Baier replaces Brit Hume in anchoring “Special Report.” Brit Hume, the outgoing anchor, delivered his final Special Report on Monday evening, 6 pm, Dec. 22. Hume remains with Fox News as a senior political analyst.

Bret Baier was favoured by Hume as his successor. As from tomorrow, Baier’s takeover will be signaled with a new name; “Special Report with Bret Baier.”
