Brenda Voydatch and Martin Kurowski are parents of a daughter nicknamed Amanda. Amanda is probably not the real name as her identity is protected. Voydatch and Kurowski divorced after Amanda was born. Ms Kurowski was born in 1999 and her parents divorced soon after.

Amanda, now 10 years old, is the subject of a tug of war between her parents. Mr Kurowski wants Amanda to attend public schools. Ms Voydatch wants Amanda to be home schooled.

Kurowski’s lawyer said Amanda was taught using computer lessons at home. The portrait of Amanda’s home schooling was not a good one.

Voydatch and Kurowski have gone to court to fight over the issue of education for Amanda. The court in New Hampshire has reviewed Amanda’s circumstances and ordered her to be sent to a public school.

To complicate matters, the issue of religion has been brought into the fray.
