Trisha Goddard, 50, the UK chat host, has breast cancer. She had surgery to remove the tumor 3 weeks ago but it has spread so she needs a second operation.

This morning, Trisha’s production company, which makes the Channel 5 show “Trisha”, was informed. Her show had a backlog of pre-recorded tapes so the transmission would not be interrupted as she convalescences at home.

Peter Gianfrancesco, Trisha’s husband, pleade for privacy and understanding during this difficult time.
