Brandon Michael Landreth, a former school teacher, will be tried on murder charges. Landreth was claimed to have murdered Justo Cesar Morales, 25,in Arcadia. Landreth, 30, was a former English language teacher at John Muir High School.

Landreth will have another arraignment on Jan. 30. At his first arraignment, Landreth pleaded not guilty.

Gerald Gracian, and Landreth’s ex-wife, Tania Landreth, claimed Landreth told them he killed Morales. Gracian is a friend of Landreth. Tania Landreth claimed her ex husband threatened Morales about 100 times in the 2 years since she started dated Morales. Police asked her why she did not report the matter. Tania claimed Landreth threatened her.
