What happened to Brandon Kleinvehn? Brandon R Kleinvehn, 18, of Chicago, may have burned himself and killed himself in Ophir Township.

Kleinvehn was reported missing earlier before the search found him. There was evidence at the scene to indicate Kleinvehn died as a consequence of a fire he started.

A black jeep Cherokee was found and Kleinvehn’s body was near the jeep.

Brandon R Kleinvehn was a student at Barrington High School. Kleinvehn was a senior. Kleinvehn was reported missing on Tuesday, May 5. Kleinvehn’s body was found the following day on May 6.Police do not suspect foul play.

The coroner’s office will conduct an autopsy on the remains of Brandon R Kleinvehn on Friday, May 8.
