Bradly Specht, a former Hutchinson High School boys basketball coach, has surrendered himself. Specht was arrested on charges of having sex with a girl, 16. Specht was charged with 8 counts of unlawful sex relations.

The victim is a student of Hutchinson High School. Specht paid his bond of $10,000 and was freed.

Specht resigned from his duties as the basketball coach and physical education teacher. Police said the alleged sex relations happened on school grounds and off school grounds. The local Reno County Prosecutor referred Bradly Specht’s case to the Kansas Attorney General’s office. This was because a former Reno County assistant D.A. is related to the accused.
