David Grann’s manuscript of “Lost City of Z”, will be published in books in February 2009. It is a biography of British explorer Col. Percy Harrison Fawcett, who disappeared during a search for a vanished civilization in the Amazon, in 1925.

Brad Pitt’s production company, Plan B, has bought the script. It was speculated that Brad would direct and star in the movie.
