Bonnie Raitt’s brother, Steve Raitt, has died. Steve Raitt had fought brain cancer for 8 years. Steve Raitt was a sound engineer and singer in Twin Cities.

Bonnie made a statement to mourn his brother’s death. Bonnie said Steve had suffered paralysis and blindness as a result of brain cancer.

Steve Raitt (photo at link) used a macrobiotic diet in 2001. His cancer went into remission but returned with a second tumor in the summer of 2008.
