Bobbi Parker: Trial for Parker after Robert Dial’s death

By Clarencia Cynrae on October 28th, 2008

Judge Brad Leverett wants Bobbi Parker, 46, to stand trial on charges that she helped a convicted killer, Robert Dial, to escape from Oklahoma State Reformatory in Garnite on Aug. 30, 1994. Bobbi Parker and Robert Dial were found living on a chicken ranch in east Texas, on April 4, 1995. Robert Dial and Bobbi Parker were featured in the TV show, “America’s Most Wanted.”

Robert Dial claimed responsibility for the abduction of Bobbi Parker. Dial claimed he was a hostage taker and said Bobbi Parker was innocent when he forced her to drive him in the escape from prison. The investigators have evidence to suggest that Bobbi Parker had lived with Robert Dial, had a good relationship with him and did not leave him even as she had her chances to do so.

Robert Dial died in June 2007 when he was 62. When Bobbi Parker was found by the authorities, she returned to her husband, Randy Parker. Bobbi Parker maintained that she was innocent and Dial claimed that he was solely responsible for keeping her away. Randy Parker declined to comment on Robert Dial and his wife’s past but said he was happily married to Bobbi Parker. Randy Parker said he looked forward to the resolution of the case.

This has an inaccurate statement. Bobbi went home to her husband as soon as she was found in April of 2oo5, not after Dial’s death in 2007. FYI.

    Sarah,

    Thanks.
