Bob Weir: Grateful Dead guitarist Bob Weir broke ribs

The band, Grateful Dead, has a guitarist, Bob Weir, who got injured when he was riding the Deadmobile tour bus. The Grateful Dead bus was traveling when the driver had to brake hard. Bob Weir, the guitarist, was standing when the driver hit the brakes and he fell down hard.
Weir suffered broken ribs. He felt pain all the time. The band, Grateful Dead, finished their latest tour and cancelled a fundraiser concert because Bob Weir was nursing his broken ribs and a cold. Weir felt too sick to carry on playing the guitar for Grateful Dead.
