On Friday, Downtown Brew will celebrate Bob Marley’s birthday bu having bands play reggae and some of Marley’s popular songs.

Bob Marley was born Feb. 6, 1945 and died in 1980 at the young age of 35. Marley died from melanoma. Marley was a famous singer-songwriter from Jamaica. Marley was a legendary leader of the reggae community.
