Bingo Gubelmann on Mischa Barton: Gubelmann on Mischa Barton (photo)
By Clarencia Cynrae on July 17th, 2009Bingo Gubelmann expressed his opinions when Mischa Barton was absent at the premiere of their movie, “Homecoming”. Gubelmann, the producer of Homecoming said that although he did not want to trash Barton at the drop of the hat, he could not help but feel frustrated.
Gubelmann said he was unaware of what had happened to Barton. Gubelmann commented that Barton did not appear to him to be unstable during the shooting of Homecoming. Barton worked 16 hour days during filming of Homecoming. Gubelmann joked that maybe that was why Barton fell apart after working so hard on the set of Homecoming.
The other producer of Homecoming, Austin Stark, was sympathetic and wished Mischa Barton all the best.
Another producer, Benji Cohen, expressed his disappointment but acknowledged Barton was going through a rough time.
Morgan J Freeman, the director, said he prayed for Barton. Freeman said Barton’s health should take top priority while the movie’s premiere could take second place.

I read elsewhere Bingo Gubelmann’s catty and mean remarks about Mischa Barton, that despite her working well, 16 hours a day, that who knows what happened, that maybe she “went Method,” and rolling his eyes. Disgusting. Cruelty is never attractive, and Bingo’s ugly, ugly comments made at a time Mischa Barton is obviously suffering are beyond the pale. Who wants to work for this pig?
