Billy Redden showed up at the Chiller Theatre Expo in New Jersey. Redden’s most recent photo is at the link. Billy Redden’s previous movie was in “Big Fish”, 2003. Billy Redden was working in a café in Georgia as a cook and dishwasher. Tim Burton, a director, found him there and offered a role for Redden in Big Fish.

Billy Redden played Lonnie in the movie, Deliverance, in 1972. The famous banjo playing video is below. There is a detailed explanation of the stunt. Someone else, hidden behind, played the banjo for Billy Redden.
