Betty Broderick’s full name is Elizabeth Anne Bisceglia Broderick. Broderick was born in New York, on Nov 7, 1947. She was convicted of the murders of her ex husband Daniel “Dan” T Broderick III, and his new, second wife, Linda Kolkena. Broderick was convicted on two counts of second degree murder. She was sentenced to 32 years to life in prison.
Ms Broderick had two trials. The first ended in a mistrial in Nov 1990. The hung jury couldn’t decide to convict Betty. Her second trial ended in Dec 1991 and she was convicted.

Barb, I agree with you! Did you read the book “The Twelfth of Never”? It gives an unbiased account of the whole case. I’m surprised Betty didn’t kill Dan sooner after the weird stuff he did to her. And as far as Linda goes…she was nothing but a common slut.
Betty should have served no more than 5 – 8 years max for this considering the circumstances. These two selfish people TAUNTED Betty mentally despite Betty’s erratic behavior. Dan Broderick was a selfish PRICK and BASTARD and I hope he burns in hell…..Linda K. was also very WRONG to get involved with a STILL MARRIED MAN…..
