Bentley Matthews, a brunette model, denied rumors that she met married Met star Jose Reyes. Jose Reyes married Katherine Ramirez in July 2008. A source said Bentley Matthews and Jose Reyes had a relationship long before Reyes married Ramirez.

Bentley Matthews wrote on her blog in MySpace that people were mistaken. Bentley Matthews said she went on a trip with her best friend. Matthews glossed over the pictures that were posted. She had deleted them. Matthews said Jose Reyes (Mr. Reyes) was not there in her room.

Reyes’s spokesman, Chris Leible, declined to comment. Mets’ spokesman, Jay Horowitz, also refused to say anything about the rumors.
