Christina Silva was forced to surrender her Miss California crown after an error in calculations. She filed a lawsuit today in Los Angeles County Superior Court. She was crowned on November 25, 2007 but dethroned on Nov 28, 2007. Christina said she was biased against because of her descent. She was Ecuadoran and Mexican. The replacement Miss California, Raquel Beezley, is one-quarter Filipino.

Ms Christina Silva has asked the court to drop her law suit against Miss Universe pageant and Miss California USA pageant organisers.
