Nic Sheff was a former meth addict. Nic has overcome his addiction and written his book about his experiences. “Tweak” by Nic Sheff tells his harrowing life with meth. Nic was dependent on meth and would steal to get money to buy his drugs.

His father David Sheff wrote his book called “Beautiful Boy” to detail how he dealt with Nic’s meth addiction. David insisted Nic had to enter rehab and detoxification. Nic attributes his life to his parents’ persistent efforts to get him successfully rehabilitated. After 5 different rehab treatments, Nic Sheff finally emerged victorious over meth addiction in Nov 2006. Nic has been sober ever since Nov 2006.
