Barret Ugland, 16, fell to his death from Ocean Walk Resort hotel’s 24 th floor. This is in Daytona Beach, Fla. Police said Ugland fell at around 7 am, Sunday, March 22.

Ugland was at the hotel on a family vacation. The Ugland family is from Minnesota. Ugland’s death is being investigated.

    When he died it was really sad because he just wanted to see the sunrise for the first time then his parents had to find out by the police knocking on theyre room door. It was just a really sad day and I didnt even know him but I was staying at the condos right next door to the Ocean Walk Resort.
