Barbra Streisand gave an interview to talk frankly about her childhood. Streisand said she never had a couch because she never had a living room. Her home in a Brooklyn housing project had a dining room and two bedrooms. Streisand’s grandparents had 1 room while the other room was shared by her mother, brother and Streisand herself.

Streisand said she never had a doll to cuddle. She had a hot water bottle instead.
