The Bahia Emerald, weighing 850 pounds, has been recovered by the Sheriff’s Department. Kudos to the L.A. County Sheriff’s Department. On Fri., Dec. 26, The formerly stolen Bahia Emerald was returned to the L.A. County Sheriff’s Department.

The Bahia Emerald will remain in protective custody until ownership of the emerald can be resolved.Details of how it was stolen can be read here.
