Azzam Baytie, 46, made threats to a mosque in North Austin Muslim Community Center, in Houston, Texas. Azzam Baytie was suspected by the police to be emotionally disturbed. Baytie claimed he had a bomb in his backpack.

Law enforcement scanned his backpack and detected electronic parts inside. They destroyed his backpack as a precaution measure. The backpack had been left in the parking lot of a mosque in Austin. Baytie was arrested for criminal trespassing and making a terrorist threat. Baytie has been booked into Travis County Jail.
