Ashley Paige started the year doing good for homeless puppies in Bakersfield, California. Paige, the custom bikini designer, adopted 2 pups into her Ruff Houzen animal rescue foundation.

Jeff Burgess found the puppies and adult dogs in an abandoned shed weeks ago. Burgess provided blankets and food for the dogs. Burgess publicized the plight of the dogs by telling the story to the Bakersfield Californian. Burgess started a campaign to save the dogs. Paige has donated some money for the care of the adult dogs.
