November 18 – AJ Jewell’s cause of death was ruled as due to a fight that made his sickle cell disease flare up. Jewell also had intestinal myocardial fidrosis and an enlarged heart.

Frederick Richardson was arrested and charged with voluntary manslaughter. Fulton County medical examiner has ruled that AJ Jewell was murdered.

Updated – Fredrick Richardson was arrested and charged with voluntary manslaughter. Richardson was charged on causing Ashley “AJ” Jewell’s death.

Ashley J Jewell, the former fiancé of Kandi Burruss, has died. Jewell was killed on Friday, October 2. Jewell was killed at a strip club in NW Atlanta. Jewell sustained a fatal head injury in a fight at the Body Tap Club.

Burruss, a cast member of The Real Housewives of Atlanta, asked for privacy and refused to make any comments.

The cause of death for Jewell was a severe head injury. Police had no suspects on Friday night.

Ashley Jewell left behind six children. Condolences and prayers to his survivors, relatives and friends.
