Shawn Mayer edges out Ashlee Hewitt. Shawn Mayer became one of the final four contestants in Nashville Star. Ashlee Hewitt, 20, had the fewest votes from viewers. Poor Ashlee Hewitt had to leave. Ashlee Hewitt will go home to Lancaster and her 12 other siblings.

People thought Ashlee Hewitt had a chance to win Nashville Star. Her original song that she wrote, Mike’s Hard Lemonade, did not win viewers’ votes.
