Presently, Ms. Mandela’s hair measures 8 feet and 9 inches. Asha Mandela submitted her name into the Guinness Book of World Records for the Longest Dreadlocks. Mandela’s hair is so long she needs 1 bottle of shampoo and 1 bottle of conditioner to clean her hair and condition it. In 1988, Ms. Mandela started growing her hair and has not cut it ever since.
