Singer Asha Bhosle’s daughter, Vasha, was hospitalized after she had an overdose of medication. Vasha, 51, was sent to Jaslok Hospital at 4.30 am on Tuesday, Sept. 9. Intially, there was concern that she may have tried to commit suicide.

A police officer told the press that Vasha did not commit suicide. She had an overdose of medicine and was warded in ICU.Dr. J.D. Sonawala, the doctor treating Vasha, has refused to comment on Vasha.
