Artyom Sidorkin, 28, had a tiny fir tree growing inside his lung. Sidorkin, in Russia, had complained to his doctor he had a pain in his chest and he coughed up blood.

Sidorkin was X-rayed and they thought they found a tumor in one of his lungs. The doctor operated and thought he was seeing things. A tiny tree was growing and its needle like leaves were poking the capillaries in the lung. This caused bleeding.

Sidorkin said he did not feel the foreign object in his chest. Sidorkin said he felt a great deal of pain but could never have guessed he had a foreign object in his chest. Doctors said it was possible Sidorkin inhaled a seed which then sprouted and grew inside his lung. The photo is here.
