Artie Lange is missing from the Howard Stern show. That is bad news. The previous times Artie Lange disappeared, it was also bad news. There is a silver lining to it. Lange is getting help. Gary Dell’Abate told Stern last week that Lange checked into intensive rehab. Lange’s sister and friends checked Lange in.

Howard Stern has checked in on his partner Lange. Lange told Stern he lost 20 pounds in a fortnight and he was sober during this time. Stern got back to Dell’Abate who told him that Lange was in detox. The crew thought Lange was having an experience similar to being in a luxury spa! Stern said Artie Lange is expected back in the studio on Wednesday, Jan. 7.

Artie Lange called a newspaper, Newsday, to give an update. Lange said he received treatment for his stomach and liver. Lange related he was exercising. Lange confirmed that he was returning to the Howard Stern show on Wed. Jan. 7.
