I can understand that FILA can give suspensions. However, I can’t understand how FILA can give fines when the Olympics were still technically an amateur event–no monetary prizes were awarded for 1st, 2nd, or 3rd. How can FILA take money from Ara Abrahamian, the coach, and the Swedish wrestling federation when it did not offer any money for successful competition at the Olympics.
