Antonin “Tony” Rezko, the Chicago real estate developer, is rumored to be telling secrets to federal prosecutors about corruption in Illinois. Tony Rezko used to be an Obama fundraiser. Gov. Rod Blagojevich and Sen. Obama may become targets as Rezko alleged he faced pressure to talk about these two men. Tony Rezko, 53, was convicted in June 2008, of scheming to get money out of a contractor and 7 other management firms that sought to do business with the State. Tony Rezko has not been sentenced yet. Rezko’s sentencing has been postponed as the prosecutors and the defendant say they are engaged in discussions.
