Anthony Mares, 25, has died. Police said Anthony Mares, of Dallas, was killed after he attempted to stage a robbery. Mares’ victim was wounded and the condition is critical. The attempted robbery happened at North Patton Avenue, near Zang and Jefferson boulevards in north Oak Cliff, Dallas. Both the suspected robber and victim exchanged gunfire.
