Another Malaysian Minister comments on Sufian Yusof/ Shilpa Lee case

Dauk Seri Mohamad Khaled Nordin, Higher Education Minister, said that Sufiah Yusof was of legal age. The Higher Education department was helpless in the sense that she was not a Malaysian and she had her freedom. She should decide for herself. The Malaysian Students Department in UK was asked to look into her case. Sufiah Yusof, 23, is British citizen. Her mother Halimahton’s native hometown is Muar, Johor. Her father Farooq Yusof, is a Pakistani citizen of Pakistan.
